2 years = 24 months – 104 weeks – 730 days – 17,520 hours – 1,051,896 minutes.
Two years is an interesting time frame. It is not very long and not very short. It’s just enough time to know where you’ve come from, where you are and where you need to go. It’s a start but not the beginning. It’s in progress but nowhere near the end. It’s two years.
SCC began the journey of its new chapter two years ago. With a renewed vision and mission based on Acts 2, we have experienced tremendous numerical and spiritual growth:
- 106 baptisms.
- 97 new covenant members.
- 44 first-time decisions for Christ.
- 80% involvement in small groups.
- 1800+ people attended events on campus.
All numbers aside, the growth and spiritual movement have brought us to a crossroads; to the precipice of new challenges and important decisions. The next several months will be pivotal to the course and trajectory of the subsequent two to five years.
On May 23rd at 6:30 pm, we are calling our church together for an informal gathering to process the past, assess the current situation and dream for the future. We will worship, pray and seek to do what Revelation 3:22 says we should: Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.
You are vital and important to this discussion and the future of SCC. We need you! Please don’t miss it.
